It’s that time of summer when the days are so long that the sun doesn’t set until 9pm. Rather than laze about at home after dinner, I occasionally go for brief walks around the neighbourhood with my camera.

I noticed the interesting texture of this building basked in the pink light of the setting sun and tried to frame a minimal photo of it, but none of the angles I tried worked. By the time I found the sweet spot, the pink light was already gone. Instead, I realized that this shot that included the cars passing by and the lampposts and wiring actually gave this photo a bit more context and added life to it.

I was visiting my parents when we noticed this stunning gradient in the sky. The condo is located right on a flight path so there are a large amount of planes that fly through this strip of sky every hour. It almost looks like an oil painting.

It’s finally summer! I got myself a vintage second-hand bike that I fixed up at Bike Pirates and I’m planning to go around and explore Toronto this summer. Unfortunately, pretty much everyone I know has to go to work so I’m gonna have to explore by myself, which isn’t a particularly bad idea since most people would get impatient with me while I try to frame the perfect shot.
